Youth worship at Life Center has grown a lot in recent years. We encourage students to seek God first and pursue excellence in worship.
Worship is a commitment. It takes time, dedication, and a pure heart. It’s not about being seen, it’s about making Him known.
If you’re a Heirborne student and want to join the worship team, please pray about it and check your intentions. Then, fill out the application below and we will get back to you!
Requirements/Qualifications
Live with maturity, purity, and integrity while pursuing a close relationship with God.
Be a regularly attending Heirborne Youth student on Wednesday nights.
Be proficient in your instrument of choice and committed to continual improvement.
Agree to and follow all team policies for personal and team stewardship.
Use the Planning Center app for scheduling and team communication.
Expectations
Maintain a consistent devotional life with the Lord.
Regularly practice your instrument or voice and take lessons if needed. (School band or team rehearsals do not count as personal practice.)
Be punctual and fully prepared for Wednesday rehearsals at 4:30 PM.
Come to practices having fully prepared and practiced your assigned parts for the selected set list.
Join pre-service prayer on Wednesdays even if you are not scheduled to play.
Be flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules, practices, or setlists.
Communicate clearly with leadership about your availability, schedule, and physical/spiritual well-being.
Attend the Summer Worship Intensive.
Exhibit leadership qualities and set a positive example for Heirborne Youth.
Be open to feedback and willing to grow through affirmation, correction, and guidance.
Application Process
Submit your application for review by and Serena Viera.
Provide an online audition video of your chosen instrument and song. (In-person auditions can be arranged if requested.)
Once reviewed, you will receive feedback and next steps from Serena.
